In April 2025, we began a partnership with Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong’s leading airline, as part of their new Discovery series. This project aims to offer business class passengers exceptional wines alongside refined cuisine, highlighting selections that embody rich cultural traditions. Perfectly aligning with this vision, Teleda Orgo’s qvevri-aged Saperavi was chosen by Cathay Pacific representatives as a distinguished example of Georgia’s 8,000-year-old winemaking heritage.

Cathay Pacific is one of the world’s premier airlines, operating flights to over 100 destinations and frequently recognized for its excellence in service and comfort. The airline places special emphasis on the quality of food and wine, a focus that is clearly reflected in its menu and wine list. Its latest initiative—introducing passengers to rare and unique wines made from indigenous grape varieties—transforms the in-flight experience into a cultural and sensory journey. A wine like this instantly evokes history and offers a taste of time travel.
